If you are considering doing any type of raffle at a biker event, you should do your research to make sure it is legal where you are hosting your event. Even if your state or province allows raffles to happen, you must check the local laws in the county and city you are planning to hold a raffle. Many states allow non-profit or charity groups to hold raffles with no licenses but if you are not, it probally means you will need a permit or license. While this may slow you down in organizing your event, it should not deter you from having raffles.
