OCC makes the ultimate Pope motorcycle
Once again for charity, the guys at OCC have done another theme bike, they have built a motorcycle in honor of Pope John Paul. This motorcycle will eventually be auctioned on Ebay starting August 26th.
The late Pontiff – who generally preferred to commute by Popemobile – inspired the customised bike, created by the Orange County Choppers motorbike garage.
It is decorated with scenes from John Paul’s life, his coat of arms, religious imagery, and the colours of the Polish flag. It cost around £30,000 ($60,000) to make.
You have to wonder if Pope John Paul ever rode a motorcycle and how he would feel that his image and personal scenes were emblazoned on a motorcycle.
This bike will sure to fetch a great price on the auction as devoted followers of Pope John Paul bid for the bike.
Although the bike is tastefully done, could you actually imagine a Vatican Pope ever endorsing a motorcycle?
Maybe it will confer an heavenly protection on the biker that rides this bike and will protect him or her againist all accidents!
