Dead biker cop’s bike to be auctioned for fellow deputy

You might remember officer Germaine Casey who died back in August while doing President Bush’s motorcade. His family has decided that his motorcycle should go to a good cause and heard about deputy Shannon Key who is fighting cancer and his rising debt.

So the family of Casey have put his bike up for silent auction and hope to raise money to give to Key.

The motorcycle is a black 2003 Kawasaki-ZX1200 with a little more than 6,000 miles on it and it is in mint condition. The average retail price is $5,500.

So if you want a good deal on a motorcycle in the Rio Rancho area, think about helping Deputy Casey out and ride away with knowing you helped someone in need. It would be really nice though, if this bike continued its law enforcement travels and made its way to someone else in law enforcement.
