Full Throttle Magazine saddles up with Iron Maidens to host Bike Night contest at HOG Wild Pig Roast benefit

Full Throttle Magazine is teaming up with the Iron Maidens & The Band of Brothers MS Motorcycle Ride team to host its popular Bike Night ride-in contest. Winners will receive trophies and tee-shirts. Trophies for Best Paint; Best Chrome; Best Custom; and Best Overall will go to the winners.

“Full Throttle Magazine is pleased to be a part of the Iron Maidens’ pig roast event,” said David “Ricco” Sgro, Full Throttle Magazine writer and Bike Night coordinator. “Our Bike Night is a ride-in bike show which attracts a variety of custom motorcycles and choppers. Bike Night is a great opportunity for participants to get together and show off their rides. Our shows also provide spectators with opportunities to check out some amazing fabrication and custom detailing. You’ll usually see everything from mild to wild rolling in.”

The first Iron Maidens’ HOG Wild Pig Roast will be held at City Sports Grille Saturday, May 17. The event will benefit the National MS Society, Connecticut Chapter 2008 MS Motorcycle Ride and the more than 6,000 Connecticut residents battling the unpredictable effects of multiple sclerosis (MS).

The event will feature a pig roast with the all the “fixins,” Miller Lite, courtesy of Rogo Distributors, live bands and acoustic rock originals by Sean Rivers Music (www.myspace.com/threeriversmusic). The roast will also feature a 50/50 drawing, give-a-ways, drawings for prizes and much more.

Last year’s benefit ride attracted more than 1,200 bikers and raised more than $42,000. The 2008 MS Motorcycle Ride will start and finish this year at Cadillac Ranch in Southington , Conn. , Sunday, July 20. Details can be found at www.ctfightsMS.org.

The Iron Maidens’ HOG Wild Pig Roast will be held at Spare Time/City Sports Grille, located at 177 Farmington Ave. , in Bristol , Conn. , Saturday, May 17, from 5 to 11 p.m. The fee is $25. In the case of rain, the event will be held on Saturday, May 31.
