Duluth City having fire auction on used scooters

If you have been living in Duluth and seen the city scooters running around town and always wanted one, now is your chance to buy them.

The city bought the 150cc Bronc scooters last year while Herb Bergson was mayor. He envisioned the city using them for community policing, inspections and transportation between city work sites. The scooters are street legal and can achieve top speeds of about 70 mph. Ness wants them gone, he said, because there’s too much of a liability risk.

While they might be a liabilty for the city, it may be the perfect way for you to get around the city. These scooters are plenty powerful enough for city traffic and come at a very cheap price…

Looking on the internet for pricing, these scooters can go brand new for 1,500 to $3,000 dollars.
