Another state expected to join Red Light law states

This will be a nice thing for bikers in the state because they will no longer have to illegally turn at a redlight or go through an intersection when the red light will not sense their motorcycle. As most bikers know, intersection lights usually do not sense us and we have to either wait a long long time or hope that no one is watching when we make a “illegal” turn or illegally proceed through a red light.

A bill to allow bikers to legally go through red lights is expected to  be signed today by the governor of South Carolina. This would make it legal for bikers to proceed with caution if they are stuck at a traffic light for more than two minutes.

Thanks to Governor Mark Sanford ahead of time for giving his signature for an little but important thing for bikers.
