Biker Builder goes blind but continues to build

Paul Miller may never be known for his bike building skills but he will be remembered for doing something most people would think is impossible. Fighting complications of diabetes, Paul was able to finish building a motorcycle after going blind.

While needing a bit of help from his father’s eyes, Paul continued building the motorcycle even though he will never be able to ride it himself.  Paul even named the motorcycle “In the Dark” to highlight the fact that he continued to build it even after being legally blind.

Paul’s determination is something to be proud of and certainly respected by other bike builders. The spirit that Paul has shown that even though he cannot ride, he is a biker at heart and will let nothing stop him when he makes up his mind.

Maybe one day, Paul will get his sight back with a help from medical improvements and be able to ride the motorcycle he has never seen. But even if he does not, he will certainly have a story to tell to his friends and family.
