6th Annual River City Ride Bike Rally Selma, Alabama May 15th

Come and enjoy a fun, music-filled weekend at The 6th Annual River City Ride Motorcycle Rally, May 15 – 17, 2009, in historic Selma, Alabama.
The event is held at The 30 acre Dallas County Arena, located 3 miles north of Selma on Valley Creek Church Road.  Gates open daily at 8:00 a.m.
Friday, the vendors open at 12:00 noon and the Hot, Rockin’, Dirty Country Band, “Hillbilly Delux” will rock the house from at 8:00 p.m. ‘til midnight!
Saturday, registration for the Poker Run ($1,000 Guaranteed Payout!) begins at 9:00 a.m. with the first bike out at 10:00 a.m.  The Poker Run culminates with a police escorted “Reverse Bridge Crossing” over the world-famous Edmund Pettus Bridge, through downtown Selma and back to the Arena by 1:00 p.m.  DJ Paul Alexander of “Porta-Party” Entertainment will provide the tunes as the Field Events, the Tattoo Contest, various skill competitions and the Bike Show take place throughout the afternoon.  Live entertainment starts again at 8:00 p.m. when the Sexy, High-Energy, Rock n’ Roller “Geneva” takes over the stage ‘til midnight!
Sunday morning the “Blessing of the Bikes” will take place at 9:00 a.m. and the vendors will be open ’til noon.
Admission is $20 per person for the entire weekend pass.  A limited number of sites for RV’s will be available with water & power on a first-come first-served basis.  Plenty of free primitive campsites and hot showers are available.  Call (334) 872-7325 for information.
