Biker event draws fire

It seems that you hear about motorcycle events drawing fire from locals who do not like bikers but in one case this last Saturday, a bike night actually recieved gunfire.

Three men are dead after a gunman fired into a crowd and then fled. Seven others were injured during the shooting.

The event was sponsored by the Old School Riders and was a Bike Night at Falcone’s Pizza in Pico Rivera, California. You can check them out at Old School Riders and the flyer about the event here. The group is a charity group that has a motto of “Family and friends supporting charities and events for good causes.” If you check their website you will see they have plenty of links to events dedicated to helping others.

Hopefully this shooting will not deter the work of the club and they will continue to support charities as they have for a long time to come.

The shooting remains under investigation.
