SuperTrapp SAE J2825 Sound Test Compliant Exhausts

CLEVELAND, OHIO – September 8, 2009 – SuperTrapp Industries (www.SuperTrapp.com) is a leading manufacturer of comprehensive performance exhaust systems for a variety of motor vehicle applications, including motorcycles, ATV and automotive.

The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) International has produced a simple, consistent and economical sound test standard that can be used to determine whether a streetbike (on-highway motorcycle) exhaust system emits excessive sound, the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) reports.  (For details on the SAE J2825 Sound Test, visit the AMA’s website. )

SuperTrapp is your performance and sound test compliant solutions provider!  Their legendary, patented, tunable disc technology has allowed them to have a leg up on the most recent sound compliant tests.  The following products pass the SAE J2825 sound test.  (Tests were conducted on a 2007 FLHRC).

SE Series Slip-Ons with chrome, Grooved Billet End Caps (P/N 128-65115)

SuperTrapp’s tunable exhausts allow riders to add discs to increase horsepower, exhaust tone and flow.  Removing discs allows the rider to reduce sound and increase low-end torque.
