Rain or Shine Poker Run Fund raiser for the Veterans Museum located in the S.W. section of exit 77 off I-5 Ck. in from 9 to 11 AM. $10.00 ea. person. Route covers 182 miles with 5 Ck. Points. Ea. point has fuel and food. Rtn. to Ck. Point 5, at the Museum NLT 4 PM. Turn in all Ck. point Stubs and draw your five cards. High hand takes 50 % of the pot. A 50/50 drawing will also be available. Museum has rest rooms, a gift shop, coffee and cookies. Event closes at 5 PM. Support the Veterans that support you.

We've had two great years & the thrid year will be even better w/ the addition of a chartiy ride for Johns Hopkins & Battlefield HD will be setting up. We still have room for vendors but spaces are fiiling fast. This is a rain or shine event come and enjoy the festivities.

The Second Annual Memory Ride sponsored by St. Joseph of the Pines for the Western NC Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association is set for Saturday, September 19, 2009. Registration for the 100-mile ride through the countryside begins at 10 A.M. at 590 Central Drive (Hwy 22) Southern Pines, NC. There will be a stopover at the winery in Wagram and upon return to Southern Pine, lunch will be served at Belle Meade at St. Joseph of the Pines.
