We Need Teddy Bears !!!

Press Release:

The Sarasota Harley Owners Group (HOG) is getting ready for the 12th Annual Great Teddy Bear Run on Sunday, November 15, 2009. Every motorcyclist that comes to participate in the police escorted parade donates a new teddy bear for kids with cancer. The name of the local, Sarasota-based non-profit charity that we supply these fuzzy friends to is KIDS by the SEA. They have been helping families afflicted with childhood cancer since 1982, right here on the sun coast, from the Panhandle to Naples.

Hundreds of teddy bears arrive for the Great Teddy Bear Run very year for this event, but we need even more than that, so this year many local businesses have agreed to make it easier for the community to make teddy bear donations as well.

There are seven drop-off points to donate new teddy bears or other stuffed animals between now and November 15th:

Romano Family Chiropractic, 1575 N. Lockwood Ridge Rd., Sarasota

Advanced Physical Therapy & Wellness, 4141 So. Tamiami Trl., Sarasota

 Advanced Physical Therapy & Wellness, 5221 E. 33rd St./SR 70 Bradenton

Advanced Physical Therapy & Wellness, 1232 Jacaranda Blvd., Venice

Advanced Physical Therapy & Wellness, 272 S. Indiana Ave., Englewood

Hair Designs of St. Armands,  10 S. Adams Ste # 2,  Sarasota

Rossiter’s Harley Davidson, 330 Cattlemen Rd., Sarasota

Please help Sarasota HOG ensure that there are enough stuffed animals to last all the clinics all year long till the next Great Teddy Bear Run.
